Tall strikingly handsome leading man of films and television in the 1980s and 1990s Denzel Washington was born in 1954 in Mount Vernon New York. He was the middle child of the 3 children of a Pentecostal minister father and a beautician mother. After graduating from high school Denzel enrolled at Fordham University intent on a career in journalism. However he caught the acting bug while appearing in student drama productions and upon graduation he moved to San Francisco and enrolled at the American Conservatory Theater. He left A.C.T. after only 1 year to seek work as an actor. With his acting versatility and powerful sexual presence he had no difficulty finding work in numerous television productions. He made his first big screen appearance in Carbon Copy 1981 with George Segal. Through the 1980s he worked in both movies and television and was chosen for the plum role of Dr. Chandler in NBCs hit medical series "St. Elsewhere" 1982 a role that he would play for 6 years. In 1989 he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Tripp the runaway slave in Edward Zwicks powerful historical masterpiece Glory 1989.
Through the 1990s Denzel co-starred in such big budget productions as The Pelican Brief 1993; Philadelphia 1993; Crimson Tide 1995; The Preachers Wife 1996; and Courage Under Fire 1996 - a role for which he was paid $10 million. He lives quietly in Los Angeles with his wife Pauletta and their 4 children. Cerebral and meticulous in his film work he made his debut as a director in 2002 with Antwone Fisher 2002.
Born in New Zealand Russell has made his home in Australia since he was a small child. The son of movie set caterers Russell got the acting bug early in life. Beginning as a child star on a local Australian TV show Russells first big break came with two films the first Romper Stomper 1992 gained him a name throughout the film community in Australia and the neighboring countries. The second The Sum of Us 1994 helped put him on the American map so to speak. Sharon Stone heard of him from Romper Stomper 1992 and wanted him for her film The Quick and the Dead 1995. But filming on The Sum of Us 1994 had already begun. Sharon is reported to have held up shooting until she had her gunslinger-Crowe for her film.
Corporate entertaining at a top flight sporting venue in Luton is not just about watching the Hatters trying to score a goal at Kenilworth Road.
Luton Rugby Football Club claims it can do just as good a job in providing a sporty backdrop to a spot of networking.
And in rugby playing terms its already as big as Luton Town FC.
Sales and marketing managing Clive Pearce says the Newlands Road ground has everything to make it the towns premier venue for business beer and a live game.
"Weve got fantastic facilities and were in a wonderful position for advertising" he said.
"And its not just the match as it seems to be with football. It all really starts after the match in the bar."
Four years ago the first team was booting a ball around the amateur Midland East League Two -- something akin to footballs Vauxhall League.
But the club saw the dawning of the sports professional era and seized the moment.
They were soon promoted to the East Midlands League One and last year entered League Three in the professional leagues -- equivalent to League One in football and the same level the Hatters now play.
"We could have ended up becoming nothing more than a social side" Clive said. "The difference with us is we grasped the professional era and raised sponsorship by getting two or three local businesses to back us.
"Rather than just get one big sponsor which is the easy way of doing things we were concerned that if that sponsor were to pull out for any reason we would be left struggling."
Clive said everyone at the club including the players works hard to bring in sponsors and then make them feel part of the scene.
"We insist that the first team players always mix with the sponsors -- although the players are so professional now they dont drink before or after a game and are all on diets" he said.
"Its a different environment and you get more than just a name on a T-shirt."
Luton businesses such as Specialist Cars Premier Computer Supplies and Your Move are among those now supporting the Lutonians and making use of the clubs facilities which include two conference/
dining areas.
The Newlands suite overlooking the pitch has space for more than 100 people while the Marquee has capacity for 250.
In contrast to many sites around town Clive added it also has adequate convenient parking away from busy streets and within easy reach of the M1.
As many as 500 people watch the weekend games and there are plans to build a stand along one side of the pitch -- estimated at £30000.
Its an opportunity for a sponsor to secure a prime advertising location next to the M1 the marketing boss said.
"Every week 140000 fly overhead to and from Luton Airport and 1.1 million drive by along the motorway -- the potential is huge" he added.
On the field the team aims to maintain league status for this season build from there and work its way to the top.
"I see no reason why we cant go to the premier league" Clive said.
"At the moment weve got Luton Town who everybody seems to be backing and they dont realise theyve got a rugby team here trying to put a stand up and they could back us -- just as people back their rugby clubs in Bedford and Northampton.
"I dont think a lot of people in Luton realise were in such a high position -- the highest a Luton team has ever been."
Twas the month after Christmas and up at the Pole
The Big Man was baffled still searching his soul
His annual travels had seemed such a chore
And both belly and spirits hung low near the floor;
The elves all but vanished late Christmas Eve
To take full advantage of their five-week-leave
Without a worry in the world they boarded Arctic Air Seeking tropical beauties with long brown hair
And the chance to breathe easy away from the Boss Whod been bathing in egg nog since Gores legal loss;
-------------------------------------------
Santa certainly though hes based in the snow
Is a man of the world but not many folks know
He spends Aprils in Paris as famed Pere Noel
Studying toy fashion trends which Barbies sell
May business is books and he keeps a low profile
He slips on dark shades as he reads by the Nile
Then hes back to the Mrs. for three months at most Before heading on down to the Florida coast...
These Americans hed decided consume all the year
Day and night non-stop so hed spend some time here
To know whats worth giving or at least spot cheap trends
Hed sweet talk the elves set up shop and then bend One or two U.S. rules to manufacture his bounty...
And who was hurt if he sunbathed in Palm Beach County?
So way back in 82 his second factory was built
And production soon grew but so did his guilt
St. Nick said to himself "Im not selling the dolls
I put up with their parades and I mug in their malls
I do special promos for their Big & Tall stores
In fact come November Im an advertising whore...
And Im a legal alien with a Florida zip
So why should I give a flip about citizenship?"
The fact was he did and in early 85
He went down to the White House to lay down his jive
He approached Ronnie Ray Gun and campaigned for hours
"Its a perfect union hell were both super powers With one small difference we both have our charms
Only I deal Legos and you deal arms;"
The actor couldnt argue so slipping on a quote Granted Santa life liberty and the pursuit of a vote
Now the fat man in red he did visibly wince
He shook the fools hand voted Democrat since
And everything was jolly until this November last
When Katherine Harris and her cohorts dug up Santas "sordid" past:
Father Christmas we find had his own Watergate
One dark December night in fact Christmas 68 Delivering in Dallas hed not one but two sacks
And his eyes were as red as his fur coat and slacks Nearing the mayors mansion his throat was quite dry he got lost in the chimney somehow still flying high
As he filled the fine familys stockings of silk
It was clear hed be craving more than cookies and milk;
Santa emptied the kitchen then chuckling with glee Removed every candy cane from that colorful tree
He fell fast asleep on the family room floor
With a Ho-Ho in his left hand and a roof-rattling snore;
The Mayor tip-toed downstairs with the optimistic hope
That hed have to use his shotgun hed had to retire the rope
Thankfully the cowboy knew no lawyers misdirection Would excuse large holes in that red suit--thered be no re-election
Reluctantly he rambled off to call the good old boys
Who gladly grabbed the white beards bags the larger luckily filled with toys;
They woke Kris Kringle up they hauled him off to court
The judge there loved a hanging considered it a sport
And tried to start a fire where there was only smoke
But possession isnt arson when the mighty take a toke
That red suit Judge lamented if it was only green fur
Would warrant 10 to 20 years instead of misdemeanor;
So the suit stayed sound and the charge remained minor
Until several months ago when Kat Harris the hard-liner
Decided Bush must win the race by methods so obscene Brother Jeb he did turn red when they dyed the fat man green
His suit that is...many others found out election day
Their fashion sense was criminal they would not get to play
In the process called democracy and so the basic truth
Is that Santa didnt sit that day inside a voting booth.

Chapter 3 - The Guardian and Gaia
3-1
Introduced here is the Spirit Wisp aka Lumina in past games. Her power here
is very helpful for fighting the boss of this level. Shortly after if you
walk around the cliff correctly its possible to skip the first dialogue though
skipping it doesnt save time but its interesting to pull off. Trying to
dodge all the flying objects which all come from off screen is difficult to
do since most of the time you dont know theyre coming until its too late.
This is the major annoyance of this section. The most common place to get nailed
as at the spot where I use the lift stone. I tried to take a difficult
shortcut by the Orangepus but once I fell I settled for a slightly modified version
of it.
3-2
This section requires you to press 4 large switches. This triggers the door to
go on to 3-3 sending a Goblin flying in the process. No this cutscene isnt
skippable. The big dot you see on the radar is actually the boss. You cant
kill him but if you fire a cannon at him and connect you can earn an Angels
Grail.
3-3
The visit to Shade is required to complete this section. After that its an
annoying run up the mountainside to reach the mine cart. I need to hit 4 Gob
Targets in order to get the special key but I cant just run down the ride and
hit them. They are only vulnerable when the mine cart is around them. I also
set the track to take the Yellow Route which puts me closest to the space
where the special key is used. The boss reappears here but cant be hit at all
except by pebbles but they dont do damage.
3-4
This section is undoubtably one of the most confusing sections in the game
due to the level design. Many travelers have gotten lost here. But the key to
getting through is to look for the purple stagmites throughout the level. If
you find them youre on track. The Golem Friar near the end has my special
key.
3-5
Finally weve found Gaia. In case youre not familiar with who he is hes
the large stone face and hands that are built into the mountain summit and also
hes protecting the Guardian Beast. He appeared in Legend of Mana under the
name Gaeus.
Wyvern
At first I pause as Gaia always gets the first hit off. The panic time is
small but I get a few hits off and also get my lock established. After that
its pretty simple on this difficulty: hit with Wisp when hes in the air let him
fall use Full Tilt Lv 3 magic spell for fast massive damage rince and
repeat. I ended up needing less hexorbs then I expected due to getting enough MP
medals to reach MP Level 4 refilling my MP level so I can use Full Tilt some
more.
